1. Introduction

This Refund Policy governs all payments made to Thirumanam Matrimony Services (“Thirumanam”, “we”, “our” or “us”) for membership, subscriptions and other services.

By purchasing any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this Refund Policy.

2. Membership Fees

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all membership fees, subscription fees and service charges are non-refundable once payment has been successfully processed.

Our services involve immediate access to the platform, administrative processing, profile creation, verification activities and matchmaking efforts, which commence upon registration or activation of your membership.

3. Circumstances Where Refunds May Be Considered

We may, at our sole discretion, consider a full or partial refund in circumstances including:

duplicate payments made due to a system or payment error;

an incorrect amount charged by Thirumanam;

payment processed despite the service being unavailable due to our error;

any other exceptional circumstances which we determine warrant a refund.

Each request will be assessed on its own merits.

4. Circumstances Where Refunds Will Generally Not Be Granted

Refunds will generally not be provided where:

you change your mind after purchasing a membership or subscription;

you decide to stop using the platform;

you do not receive the number of matches you expected;

you do not find a suitable life partner;

another member does not respond to your messages or declines to communicate with you;

you are dissatisfied with another member’s behaviour (unless required by law);

your membership is suspended or terminated due to your breach of the Terms & Conditions;

your membership expires before you fully utilise the services.

5. Cancellation of Membership

You may cancel your membership at any time.

Cancellation will prevent future renewals (if applicable) but does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid, unless otherwise required by law.

6. Automatic Renewals

Where memberships renew automatically, the renewal terms, amount payable and renewal frequency will be disclosed before enrolment.

You may cancel automatic renewal before the next billing date. Once a renewal payment has been successfully processed, it is generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated because you have breached our Terms & Conditions, no refund will be payable for any unused portion of your membership.

8. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please contact us within seven (7) days of the relevant payment by providing:

your full name;

registered email address or mobile number;

payment reference or receipt;

date of payment; and

the reason for your refund request.

9. Processing of Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved:

it will be made using the original payment method where reasonably practicable;

processing times will depend on the payment provider or financial institution; and

any bank charges, payment gateway fees or currency conversion fees that cannot be recovered by Thirumanam may be deducted where permitted by law.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, limits or restricts any rights or remedies that you may have under applicable Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other applicable legislation.

Where any provision of this Refund Policy is inconsistent with mandatory legal requirements, those legal requirements shall prevail.
